Juneau Mobility Rentals - Terms of Service

Welcome to Juneau Mobility Rentals. By renting equipment from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Rental Agreement

1.1 Equipment: Juneau Mobility Rentals rents out wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and walkers ("Equipment").1.2 Rental Period: The rental period begins on the date the Equipment is delivered or picked up and ends on the agreed-upon return date. Extensions to the rental period must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.1.3 Rental Charges: Rental charges are due at the start of the rental period. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods.1.4 Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required at the start of the rental. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the Equipment in the same condition as when rented, minus any applicable fees for damage or late return.

2. Customer Responsibilities

2.1 Use of Equipment: The Customer agrees to use the Equipment in a safe and responsible manner. The Equipment is only to be used by the Customer or individuals authorized by the Customer.2.2 Care of Equipment: The Customer agrees to take care of the Equipment and ensure it is returned in the same condition as when rented. Any damage or loss of the Equipment while in the Customer's possession is the responsibility of the Customer and may result in additional charges.2.3 Return of Equipment: The Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed-upon return date. Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Company Responsibilities

3.1 Delivery and Pickup: Juneau Mobility Rentals will arrange for the delivery and pickup of the Equipment as agreed upon at the time of rental. Delivery and pickup fees may apply.3.2 Maintenance: Juneau Mobility Rentals ensures that all Equipment is maintained in good working condition. Should any issues arise during the rental period, the Customer should contact the company immediately for assistance.

4. Liability

4.1 Customer Liability: The Customer is liable for any damage or loss of the Equipment during the rental period. The Customer is also responsible for any injuries or damages caused by the use of the Equipment.4.2 Company Liability: Juneau Mobility Rentals is not liable for any injuries or damages that result from the misuse of the Equipment by the Customer or any third party.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Cancellations: Cancellations made 24 hours before the rental period begins will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental period begins may incur a cancellation fee.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1 Data Collection: Juneau Mobility Rentals collects personal information such as name, address, phone number, and payment details for the purpose of processing rental agreements and providing services.6.2 Use of Data: Your personal information will be used to manage your rental, communicate with you regarding your rental, and send updates and promotional offers.

7. Opt-In for Texts and Calls

7.1 Communication Consent: By renting from Juneau Mobility Rentals, you consent to receive text messages and phone calls related to your rental, including updates, reminders, and customer service communications.7.2 Marketing Consent: You may also opt-in to receive promotional messages about our services and special offers.
